These are images of the first couple of sessions for this sleeve, more and more people (especially Islanders) are getting into the Japanese style. Does it say anything in terms of where Pacific peoples and tattooing is heading? I dont know, but it seems the reason behind the interest in Japanese style tattoos are largely aesthetic. This sleeve is different though, Dom came to me with a story and each of the animals that are going to be in this sleeve represent something important to him in his life. This is the first two sessions so there are still touch ups and colours to be added but I thought I'd post these ups since its laways interesting to see the process as it happens...
