Sometime back, we had written about the small car which Ford was planning for India, and at that point in time, we thought it to be the Ford ‘Focus’ hatchback, but we were wrong. Presenting the all new Figo – Ford’s new small car for India.
The Figo is built on Ford's small car-platform architecture and shares its underlying technology with the Ford Fiesta.
Launch Date/ Features/ Price
The Figo is slated for an early 2010 production launch. Plus the company has refused to reveal any other details before the launch. The company has constantly been highlighting the design (Ford's Kinetic Design language) of the vehicle, which at first go looks a little i20-ish but surely has its own distinctive hints like the more profound front-grille. The speculated price of the car is about 3.5 Lakhs (base model)
