'Being in the world' a film by Tao Ruspoli

If you enjoyed the documentary on the blog sidebar 'Behind the Wheels' by Tao Ruspoli, you would enjoy 'Being in the World' (also by Tao Ruspoli).I haven't seen the movie but judging solely from the trailer, I would say it is highly influenced by Heidegger's philosophy. Hubert Dreyfuss also is featured in the film. Dreyfuss is an expert on Heidegger and for any student of 20th century philosophy, they know the importance of Heidegger to the understanding of that philosophical landscape. And the best way to get into Heidegger is through Dreyfuss's writing and lectures on Heidegger's 'Being and Time'.

Alot happens beneath and without the currency of mainstream film and cinema. And I think the stuff made by LAFCO are some of the most clever and provocative films made recently. Check out Tao Ruspoli's site here for more on 'Being in the world'. Clever film....
