A work in progress..

My friend Kev's been dropping in for some sessions, though we haven't finished yet, I thought I'd put up some of the progress we've been making...still alot of shading and smoothing out the rough needle edges but its looking better each session...Niuean map with the flag are obvious icons relating Kev to his place of origin, as well as the Grey Lynn signpost, the awkward face on the forearm is supposedly a necklace but we'll get there, bit more to be done...I have to say, it's a challenge trying to work over someone else's work, but even more challenging is linking a bunch of different images into a synchronized array of pictorial wave and synergy...I tried posting the images in order of completion and you might be able to tell that these tattoos are still in the last phase of healing, some are still emerging out of the scarred and dead skin...
